Like My Mother Does

I don't watch American Idol, I never got into it really. I think once or twice when I was bored (in the way early seasons) I watched some audition episdoes for a laugh and maybe the finale, but that hasn't happened since pre-Carrie Underwood easily. I have nothing against the show, I just never got into it. I love Carrie Underwood and a few others who have come from the show, but still... you get the picture.

I heard this season the two finalists were young and country for the most part. I have to admit I still have not heard the winner guy sing anything yet... but I have heard Lauren Alaina's song. And I love it.



It is called 'Like my Mother Does'. I texted my mom last night and told her she had to listen to it, because I thought of her whenever I heard it. It is so true. My mom is my best friend and I hope I can be like her. She said I made her teary after she went off and listened to it.

    Scotty's song is called "I Love You This Big" I didnt watch the show, and havent since Chris Daughtry was on it, but I do love Scotty's song! :)

    Loved the song! makes me think of my own mother. That was so touching how she went into the audience and hugged her mom. So sweet :)

    I didn't watch the show at all this year. I just couldn't get into this year for some reason? I use to watch it, the first seasons....but it kinda gets on my nerves now.
