Two More Days

Just TWO more days and I will be done with camp.

Ugh.

Two days...not to bad....you can make it. Then the weekend. Yay! Any fun plans?

The Blogger

Veteran Marine Wife. New Mom. Library Tech. Actress. Theatre Lover. Dork. Picture Taker. Swimmer. Jersey Girl. Blogger. I was born and raised in NJ but came to DC for college. Of course I would meet my future husband there. I went off to Disney for six months while Ryan was in Iraq on his first deployment. Then we got married and moved south. One more deployment was added for good measure. Now I am living the life of a "grown up" in South Carolina, a Yankee in the South, and adjusting to this new and amazingly wonderful life.

The Couple

Peanut Butter and Jelly. Opposites Attracted. My First Love. His True Love. We met at a Saint Patrick's Day Party thanks to mutual friends. We talked for two months then started dating. We went through college graduation, a deployment, a Disney internship, a whirlwind engagement of wedding plans, and a year of marriage in VA together uninterrupted. Then we did nine months on opposite coasts. Then we moved to Eastern NC and managed to survive another deployment, SOI instructor duty, nearly five years in our first home, pregnancy, NICU stays, parenthood, and EASing. Although my husband has left his active duty days behind him, he will always be My Marine (and Me)!
