Early Access to Pottermore!!!!!!
One of my clients got a Civil War Sword. It was his grandfather's who was a Captain for the Union Army... watching American Pickers and Auction Hunters and Storage Wars has made me such a geek about old things! I do love history too.
Ice Cream Sundae day today at work... we do fun things to keep the clients interested. I hadn't had one in ages. Someone also made me my first rootbeer float. I don't drink milk so I enjoyed the ice cream part but once the ice cream was gone I was not a fan.
Last night I did laundry at the Barracks with my neighbor Carrie, I was grateful for the company, especially since she is pretty awesome. We went to a Mexican/Cuban/Puerto Rican place and it was delicious.
Also, Shark Week. I am looooooooooooving Shark Week.
And texting my husband. And brief phone calls. He is stuck in a temporary room still (like they didn't realize he was coming!) and adjusting to the desert and new rules... (ie dry barracks, no socializing with anyone outside the school...). Once he is settled it will be better, but he is having a bit of a rough time at the moment. Say a little prayer if you don't mind!
