MilSpouse Friday Fill In
I have always wanted to do this, so I finally am!! (:
1. How do you spend your deployment money, do you save, pay off bills or enjoy the extra money while it is there to buy the things you do not normally have?
Ryan and I were just dating when he was deployed, so I didn't have any really say in that. I do know a bit of it went to my engagement ring though....
2. If you could relive one occasion or moment, what would it be?
I would love to do our wedding day again. It was so much fun and I was so incredibly happy (still am, but ya know what I mean!).
3. What’s the worst job you ever had and if it was so bad why did you take it?
It is a toss up between the summer camp where I was a Day Camp Counselor this summer and Kohls (specifically just the shoe dept, the rest was ok). The camp was a hellish commute since I found the job before Ryan and I found an apartment. I figured a day camp job would be perfect since I would have day time hours, I like kids, and I would have the time to look for a "real" job for fall. I did not expect a 45 minute commute there, an hour plus home, tough management, overly privelidged (and therefore entitled and bratty) kids (mostly) because of the area the camp was, and just the general stress. If the commute were shorter it would have been better. Plus my two co-counselors were wonderful! Kohls, that was a high school and part of college job to have extra spending money. Mostly it was fine. Slow and boring in the summer, and the shoe dept was literally cleaning up after other people NONSTOP. Obnoxious.
4. If you could play any character on TV, who would you be?
Ooh tough. I would have to say Pam from the Office. Amazing.
5. If you could become the world’s expert in something, what would it be?
I would like to become the world's leading expert in something unexpected, like Astrohphysics or Nuclear Fusion. Because people would steretypically look at little blonde me and be shocked. But I would love to be an expert in acting, or pastry art! Much more interesting, for me at any rate.
I love your answer to 5 :)
